Tony Waters

Tony Waters

Principal & Portfolio Manager

Tony Waters is a Portfolio Manager of the QVG Opportunities Fund and a Founder of QVG Capital with over 30 years' experience in financial markets.

Prior to founding QVG Capital, Tony was Portfolio Manager of the Ausbil Micro Cap Fund from its inception until April 2017. Before joining Ausbil, Tony worked as a Small Companies Analyst at Investors Mutual and spent nine years as a highly-rated Small Cap Analyst at CCZ Equities, specialising in Gaming, Tourism and Leisure sectors.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Business from Avondale College, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA, and has completed the CPA Programme.

Chris Prunty

Principal & Portfolio Manager | CFA

Chris Prunty is a Portfolio Manager of the QVG Opportunities Fund and a Founder of QVG Capital with over 20 years' experience in financial markets.

Chris served as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Ausbil Micro Cap Fund from February 2010 to April 2017. His career includes roles as Small Companies Analyst at Investors Mutual and Confluence Asset Management, and as a Small Cap Analyst at CCZ Equities focusing on specialty retailers and industrial stocks. Chris began his career as a Graduate at AMP Capital.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Josh Clark

Portfolio Manager | CFA

Josh Clark is a Portfolio Manager at QVG Capital with over 15 years' experience in financial markets.

Josh brings extensive portfolio management experience from Ophir Asset Management, where he managed both Mid-cap and Small-cap strategies. Prior to this, Josh was the Sole Analyst at the Ausbil Microcap Fund, working alongside Tony Waters and Chris Prunty. His earlier career includes roles as a Quantitative Analyst at both Ausbil and Bell Potter Securities, and in the Alternative Products Team at Colonial First State.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rebecca Holgate

Head of Client Services & Operations

Rebecca Holgate is the Head of Operations and Investor Services at QVG Capital, working closely with the Head of Distribution on sales and marketing efforts. Rebecca joined QVG Capital in 2019 with over 15 years' financial services experience.

Rebecca's career includes serving as Operations Manager at Bennelong Funds Management and holding various Operations, Sales and Marketing roles at Shed Enterprises, a specialist financial marketing firm. She also brings experience from the property industry.

Rebecca holds an Advanced Certificate in Property Agency.

James Fuller

James Fuller

Equity Analyst | CFA

James Fuller is an Equity Analyst primarily responsible for working with Josh on the QVG Long Short Fund. James has over 5 years' experience in financial markets most recently as an Investment Analyst at a London-based family office.

Prior to this role James worked on the sell-side at stockbroking firm Evans & Partners.

James has a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University and is a CFA charter holder.

Alec Manchee

Equity Analyst

Alec Manchee is an Equity Analyst primarily responsible for working with Tony and Chris on the QVG Opportunities Fund.

Alec has a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydney University.

Scott Baker

Head of Distribution

Scott Baker is an experienced funds management executive having previously worked at Ironbark, Capital Group and Perpetual.

Scott helps QVG with client relationships and distribution with a focus on the private wealth space.
